There is an International Manchester Triage conference each year. In alternate years, this is held in the UK and in other years it is hosted by a member of the International Reference Group.
In 2018 the conference was hosted by our Portuguese group, further information can be found here.
In 2019, the UK hosted the last face to face conference at Manchester Conference Centre. However due to the ongoing global situation, the conference was unable to run in 2020. In December 2021, the first virtual conference was held, feedback from the day was very positive with just some of the fantastic comments shown below.

We are delighted to announce that the 2023 International Manchester Triage conference will be held jointly with the ALSG Conference on Thursday, 14th September 2023 as a hybrid event at Manchester Conference Centre with online facilities for those unable to join face-to-face. United Kingdom Virtual Conference 2021We were delighted to host our first virtual conference on 9th December 2021. Here are just some of the fantastic comments we received from the day:
Professor Janet Marsden was one of the founders of the highly acclaimed Manchester Triage System (MTS) which celebrates 27 years since its inception and launch. Sadly Janet passed away in 2018, aged just 57 years old.In recognition of her work and commitment to the MTS, we are pleased to launch the second Janet Marsden Research Bursary in acknowledgement of her contribution and this award is now officially open.
The winning submission is announced at the bi-annual UK International Triage Conference, the date for the next conference in 2023 is to be confirmed.
